    Because this is valet service, there is no curb deadline to hit. Leave your bin by the garage or back door and our driver takes it out, empties it, and returns it. No dragging carts down an icy driveway before sunrise.

    Holiday schedule and delays

    We observe six holidays each year. When your regular pickup day lands on one of them, service slides to the next business day and everyone on the route gets a heads-up before it happens.

    Severe South Dakota weather can also shift a route. Blizzards, ice storms, and impassable side streets occasionally push a pickup back a day. When that happens we notify customers directly rather than making you guess.

    Sioux Falls recycling rules

    Recycling is single-stream and collected bi-weekly on Wednesdays. Everything goes in one cart, but a contaminated load can get rejected, so a quick rinse and a little sorting discipline goes a long way.

    • Plastics #1 through #5
    • Glass bottles and jars
    • Aluminum and steel cans

    Keep out

    • Plastic bags and film wrap
    • Styrofoam and packing peanuts
    • Food waste or greasy pizza boxes
    • Yard waste (add our yard waste service instead)
    • Batteries, paint, electronics, and other hazardous items

    Seasonal yard waste is a separate service. If you rake, mow, or trim, you can add bi-weekly or weekly yard waste pickup from our add-on services page.
