Question 1

What day is Valet garbage pickup in Hayward?

Accepted Answer

Our regular garbage pickup in Hayward, Sioux Falls, SD is on Tuesdays, once each week. This is Valet Garbage Company's schedule, not a citywide schedule for every hauler. We confirm your address and first pickup when you start service.

Question 2

Where should I leave my bins for pickup in Hayward?

Accepted Answer

Leave your bins outside your door on your scheduled Tuesdays service day. Our valet team collects them, empties them and returns them to your door. You do not need to move them to the curb, and there is no fixed early-morning set-out deadline. Tell us about gates, steps or an alley when setting up your Hayward, Sioux Falls, SD address so we can confirm access.

Question 3

When is recycling collected in Hayward?

Accepted Answer

Recycling in Hayward, Sioux Falls, SD is collected every other Wednesday, not every week. A 96-gallon recycling bin is included at no extra charge alongside your 64-gallon trash bin. Confirm your first recycling Wednesday when you start service rather than assuming every Wednesday is a collection day.

Question 4

Does a holiday change my Hayward pickup day?

Accepted Answer

Your usual garbage day is Tuesdays, but a major holiday can affect the schedule. Check the holiday pickup calendar or contact us to confirm the date for your Hayward, Sioux Falls, SD address. Do not assume every holiday causes the same one-day shift.

Question 5

Who should I contact about a missed pickup in Hayward?

Accepted Answer

Call or text (605) 750-0405 with your Hayward, Sioux Falls, SD street address and whether garbage or recycling was missed. We will check your scheduled collection and arrange the next step. For recycling, first confirm that it is your every-other-Wednesday pickup week.

Question 6

How do I confirm pickup is available at my Hayward address?

Accepted Answer

Enter your full street address, city and ZIP code at signup so we can confirm eligibility and the correct route. The regular Sioux Falls garbage route runs on Tuesdays. A neighborhood name or nearby city alone does not confirm service; nearby rural addresses are considered on request.

Question 7

How do I switch garbage companies in Hayward?

Accepted Answer

Sign up online in about 60 seconds. We deliver your bins in 3-5 business days, then you cancel your old hauler once your first Valet pickup is on the calendar.
